The legendary spin bowlers Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi of the Indian National Cricket Team have received high appreciation from legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.
During the just concluded Twenty20 International series against Australia, teenage leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi was outstanding with the ball and emerged as the series’ top wicket-taker.
Throughout the series, he had a significant influence during the powerplay overs. In those seven overs, he bowled five wickets at a cost of forty-five runs. “Player of the Series” went to Ravi Bishnoi in recognition of his outstanding efforts.
Speaking of which, Axar Patel, the left-arm spinner, was outstanding as well, particularly in the last two games in which he was awarded Player of the Match.
Notably, despite his outstanding performance with the ball, Axar Patel has been left out of the team for the forthcoming Twenty20 International series against South Africa.
Throughout the five-match T20I series against Australia, Bishnoi claimed nine wickets at an average of 18.22 and an economy of 8.20. Axar, meanwhile, claimed six wickets at a 20.66 average and a 6.20 economy.

Muttiah Muralitharan stated on Jio Cinema that India has always had a wealth of excellent spin spinners.
Because he bowls more quickly than other spinners, he continued, Bishnoi is extremely unique. The wonderful man from Sri Lanka also praised Washington Sundar and Axar Patel.
Every generation in India has always had a good, um, spin. From Anil (Kumble) to Ravi Ashwin, and now to the young men who have arrived, you can see.
When it comes to leg spinners, Bishnoi is unlike any other. According to Muralitharan, “He bowls faster and slides the ball a lot.
Axar is also very accurate and doesn’t spin the ball a lot. Washi is similar in that he doesn’t turn much and is accurate and quite quick.”
In addition, Muralitharan gave the young spinners some advice. He said:
“I believe that bowling to one’s field is the most crucial aspect for a bowler. Create a field and toss a bowl into it. It’s critical to consider the batsman’s advantage as well.
