During this summer’s transfer window, Al-Nassr is reportedly keen on signing Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, two players from Manchester United.

With a one-year option to extend, Casemiro’s contract at Old Trafford runs until June 2026. However, there is a lot of conjecture right now about what will happen to him in Manchester.

During the 2023–24 season, the 31-year-old has battled injuries, making just 12 appearances across all competitions. However, he was once again benched against Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite a lot of transfer rumours, Casemiro is scheduled to play in Sunday’s FA Cup fourth-round matchup against Newport County. He will not be moving before the January transfer window shuts.

However, Man United is rumoured to be willing to sell their top earner this summer as new minority stakeholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe is eager to change the club’s course.

The Daily Mail claims that Al-Nassr, the team that infamously bought Cristiano Ronaldo at the beginning of 2023, is planning a summer move for Casemiro, and that Wan-Bissaka, his Man United teammate, is also desired.

Wan-Bissaka’s contract is set to expire in June 2025 after the Red Devils exercised a 12-month extension, but there are questions over what will happen to him after that.

The 26-year-old made 17 appearances in all competitions this season, mostly at left-back, thanks to injuries sustained during the full-back positions this season.

However, Wan-Bissaka trails Diogo Dalot in the right-back position, and Luke Shaw has returned to fitness, which means that Wan-Bissaka’s road to the starting XI is currently blocked.

The Englishman is rumoured to be interested in Inter Milan, and Crystal Palace is reportedly eager to re-sign him when the current season ends.

It is rumoured that Al-Nassr is thinking about leaving before the January transfer window shuts, although it is quite improbable that Man United will allow him to go at this point in the season.

The fact that the English team chose to activate an extension over offering him a new deal seems to imply that they would be open to selling him this summer for the right amount.

Since Raphael Varane’s contract at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, there have also been rumours of the Frenchman moving to Saudi Arabia.

Jadon Sancho’s agent has refuted rumours of an exit, despite a recent report that the team would try to move both of them to the Saudi Pro League this summer.
