The Indian Premier League’s eagerly anticipated seventeenth season is only a few days away, but it appears that Kolkata Knight Riders have infuriated its top all-around player Andre Russell. A video that the franchise posted to its Instagram account is the cause.
The West Indies all-rounder was seen giving up a six to Manish Pandey in the video. In the IPL 2024, the right-handed batsman will play for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
In the most recent auction, the two-time champions acquired their former player.
Manish Pandey, who played for KKR from 2014 to 2017, is the first Indian player to knock a century in the IPL.
He was a standout batsman in the 2014 Indian Premier League final, amassing 94 runs to help KKR upset Punjab Kings and win the title for the second time.
Manish Pandey played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow SuperGiants, and Delhi Capitals following his release from the Kolkata-based team. He was later re-signed by the two-time winners.

They would be desperate to win it all because they haven’t taken home the trophy since 2014. They should be confident because they have a strong team this year.
The IPL 2024 is set to begin on March 22. On March 23, KKR will play their opening game at Eden Gardens against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
