This is our projected India team for the Twenty20 Internationals against Australia.

In India’s lineup, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill may start as openers. India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, will have to guide the team against a formidable Australian squad.

Shubman Gill scored 304 runs with one hundred and fifty in 11 Twenty20 International games played in 2023.

Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma could be selected for the middle-order in the India vs. Australia Twenty20 International team.

Prior to the World Cup, Kohli has taken time off from T20Is since the beginning of the year in order to manage his workload.

But after this year’s World Cup, attention will turn to the T20I World Cup, which will take place the following year. Kohli will therefore return to the T20I team.

Yet another important player on the team will be Suryakumar Yadav. He leads the club in runs scored in the shortest format with 433 in 11 games.

Left-handed hitter Varma has performed admirably in the shortest format, hitting 231 runs in 9 T20Is.

There will be two choices for wicketkeepers: KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan.

KL Rahul has demonstrated that he is a capable wicketkeeper. In T20Is this year, Ishan Kishan has had difficulty scoring runs. Nonetheless, he is one of the best wicket keepers for the national team when Rishabh Pant isn’t playing.

Due to injury, Hardik Pandya is not participating in the World Cup, but he may return before the Australia T20I series.

In T20I this year, Pandya has guided the team. He has amassed 188 runs and taken 11 wickets in 11 games.

Another versatile player will be Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja has established himself as a potent spin all-arounder for India with his ability to take wickets and bat quickly in the latter stages of the World Cup.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav could be included in the team as spinners. This year’s most effective Indian spinner in T20Is has been Chahal.

In 11 games, the right-arm spinner has taken 11 wickets at an economy rate of 7.28. Yadav, a left-arm spinner, has taken eight wickets at a 5.64 economy rate in seven games.

Australia’s batsmen are formidable, and India will need to outscore them with a potent pace attack.

India’s starting two speed bowlers will be Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami.

Siraj has been a reliable bowler in 2023, but Shami has impressed with his superb performance in the current World Cup.

Against Australia, Jasprit Bumrah will be another pacer. After nearly 11 months off the field, Bumrah is back, and he needs to get ready for the T20I World Cup as quickly as possible.

Even since his comeback, Bumrah has demonstrated a similar bowling rhythm.

Perhaps another pacer for the Australia T20I team is Arshdeep Singh. With 21 wickets in 15 games in 2023, the left-arm bowler is India’s top wicket-taker in the shortest format.
