IPL 2024 Buzz: CSK’s Big Move – Ben Stokes Set for Release
Stokes has announced that he will not be participating in the 2024 Indian Premier League, citing the necessity to manage his workload following his international commitments.
In the IPL 2023 mini-auction, Stokes was purchased by Chennai Super Kings for an incredible amount of Rs 16.25 crore.
Due to a knee injury, he was only able to participate in a few games during the season. In the previous season, the all-around player scored eight and seven runs.
