Despite the current rumours surrounding the attacker, Manchester United is allegedly not going to accept offers for Marcus Rashford during this summer’s transfer window.

After making 56 appearances in the 2022–2023 season, the 26-year-old scored 30 goals and registered 11 assists, earning him a lucrative long-term contract at Old Trafford last summer.

This season, Rashford has struggled to find his best form for the Red Devils, only managing 30 appearances across all competitions with five goals and six assists.

This season, the England international’s body language has drawn criticism. Additionally, it is thought that he was fined two weeks’ salary last month for going to a Dublin nightclub twice in a row and then missing practice due to illness before his team’s FA Cup match against Newport County.

In order to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is leaving the team on a free transfer at the conclusion of the season, Paris Saint-Germain is rumoured to have chosen Rashford as their top priority.

In the meantime, reports suggest that Arsenal is closely monitoring the situation in case the Red Devils academy product becomes available for transfer.

Football Insider claims that the 20-time English champions, however, are unwilling to allow Rashford to leave the team during the summer transfer window.

According to the source, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club’s new minority shareholder, is keen to keep the Englishman at Old Trafford because he sees him as an important component of the team’s future plans.

Rashford has only scored five goals and three assists in 24 Premier League games this season, but with Rasmus Hojlund out for the next two to three weeks with a muscular injury, he may now operate in the middle.

“Our squad has possibilities for us. It’s obviously a blow to Rasmus. The fact that we are unable to maintain this procedure with the three in the front line is a setback for us, Man United head coach Erik ten Hag said to MUTV.

“They have been incredibly complementary to one another lately, but I also believe we can deploy other frontlines who can work well together, complement one another, and generate opportunities. They are all capable of scoring goals, as I mentioned.”

Although Rashford has frequently expressed a desire to play off the left, Man United’s dearth of options at centre-forward means that, starting with Sunday’s Premier League match against Fulham, he will probably play through the middle in Hojlund’s absence.

Between December 30 and February 1, the Englishman scored in three consecutive league games against Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, he has since failed to score in games against West Ham United, Aston Villa, and Luton Town.
