In today’s Premier League clash between Manchester United and Everton at Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford has retained his place in the starting lineup despite concerns over his fitness.
Rashford, who scored a stunning goal in the Red Devils’ 3-1 defeat to Manchester City last weekend, was not fully fit to see out the full 90 minutes due to a knock.
However, manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that Rashford would be available for selection against Everton, and the English forward has kept his place in the first XI.

Ten Hag has named an unchanged starting lineup following last weekend’s loss at the Etihad Stadium, with Victor Lindelof set to continue at left-back alongside defenders Jonny Evans, Raphael Varane, and Diogo Dalot in a four-man defence.
In midfield, Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro will continue to link up, with Scott McTominay operating in an advanced role.
Captain Bruno Fernandes will start on the right flank, while Alejandro Garnacho, who scored a sensational overhead kick in the previous encounter against Everton, retains his spot on the left. Antony will start on the substitutes’ bench once again.
As for Everton, manager Sean Dyche has named the same starting lineup that began last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to West Ham United. Jarrad Branthwaite, James Tarkowski, Ben Godfrey, and Vitaliy Mykolenko will form the back four, protecting goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
In midfield, Amadou Onana, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and ex-Man United player James Garner will start, with Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil operating on the flanks. Beto will lead the line for Everton ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Idrissa Gueye misses out with a groyne injury, but Andre Gomes has overcome a calf issue to make the substitutes’ bench, which also includes former Man United players Ashley Young and Michael Keane.
