According to reports, Chelsea is debating whether to fire head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
Along with a host of other new arrivals, the Argentine was brought to Stamford Bridge in the summer and given the responsibility of building a dynamic new squad.
Though Chelsea is ranked 11th in the Premier League, Pochettino has led the team to an EFL Cup final where they will play Liverpool later this month.

Following a 4-1 loss at Liverpool on Wednesday and a 4-2 loss at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, Chelsea now sits seven points behind Manchester United in sixth position.
Chelsea had won five straight games in all competitions and four straight league games at home in West London prior to the doubleheader.
However, following Chelsea’s defeat to Wolves, TEAMtalk reports that the club’s owners are considering firing Pochettino.
As things stand, it’s uncertain if the 51-year-old will soon lose his job in the dugout or if Chelsea will not improve before a decision is made.
In his 31 games in all competitions, Pochettino has recorded 14 victories, 6 draws, and 11 losses; his win percentage of 45% is superior to Graham Potter’s 39% over the same number of games.
Nevertheless, Pochettino’s record has been reached after Chelsea made significant squad changes in the summer and after spending a lot more money.

Chelsea was not playing up to the standards that were expected of them, and Pochettino acknowledged that being fired was a possibility after Chelsea’s loss to Wolves.

On the other hand, he has repeatedly stated that Chelsea is just beginning a project and that it would take time for his players—who make up one of the Premier League’s youngest squads—to reach their full potential.
Chelsea’s FA Cup fourth-round replay against Aston Villa is their next match; the first leg, which took place prior to the recent losses, ended in a scoreless draw.
In the Premier League, Chelsea travels to Crystal Palace on February 12 before facing Manchester City on February 17.
