Cristiano Ronaldo, the striker for Al-Nassr, is allegedly pressuring his team to sign Manchester United midfielder Casemiro during the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old Casemiro is under contract at Old Trafford through June 2026, with the possibility of a further 12 months, but his future is currently the subject of much conjecture.
The Brazil captain has only made 12 appearances so far this season due to injuries, but this weekend he returned to the bench against Tottenham Hotspur after recuperating from a hamstring problem.

Despite rumours that he may be leaving Manchester United before the January transfer window closes, Casemiro will remain a member of the team this month.
The 20-time English champions, according to a recent rumour, would be willing to negotiate a pay-off, thus a summer departure is anticipated.
At £350,000 a week, Casemiro is the highest paid player at Old Trafford. According to reports, new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe feels that severing his relationship with the player would be best for the team this summer.
Foot Mercato claims that Ronaldo has discussed moving for his former teammate this summer with top Al-Nassr authorities.
Ronaldo had great success working with Casemiro at Real Madrid. Prior to the former’s departure from Manchester United, the two were colleagues there for a brief period of time.
In his 44 appearances for the team across all competitions, the 38-year-old has scored 38 goals and provided 13 assists since joining Al-Nassr on a free transfer in January 2023.
Although Ronaldo’s current deal expires in June 2025, he is rumoured to be amenable to an extension because he is happy at the club.

If Casemiro departs Manchester United this summer, he should receive offers from some of the biggest European teams; AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly also interested in signing him.
When it comes to a contract, though, the European powerhouses would not be able to compete financially with some Saudi Pro League clubs.

Since joining Man United in 63 games in the summer of 2022 after moving from Real Madrid to Old Trafford, Casemiro has tallied 11 goals and seven assists.
The midfielder may play for the Red Devils for the first time since early November when they play Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round on January 28.
